Mrs. Mary Armstrong, 97 years old last March, widow of the late Ben Armstrong, passed away at 8:45 o'clockk Sunday morning in Burlington hospital where she had made her home for the last two years. She was a well known resident of Burlington and had made this city her home for many years, the old homestead having been located on Garfield avenue. She entered Burlington hospital for care during her declining years on May 1929. Mrs. Armstrong was a member of the Congregational church. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Minnie Bischof of Dundalk, Maryland, and two grandchildren. A niece, Miss Maude Brown is a nurse at Keokuk. Funeral service will be held at Prugh's Chapel at ten o'clock Wednesday morning. Burial will be in Aspen Grove cemetery.
