Robert H. Cale, 58, of Mokena, Ill., died Monday, April 4, 2005, at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center in Joliet, Ill. Born Oct. 23, 1946, in Hamilton, Ill., he was the son of Gladstone Hume and Irene Mitchum Cale. On Jan. 6, 1989, he married Linda K. Snowden in Chanhassen, Minn. Mr. Cale was plant manager for PVS Chemicals Inc. in Chicago. He was a 1964 graduate of Hamilton High School and attended Western Illinois University in Macomb, Ill. He was an avid fisherman and golfer. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Michael Cale fo Bloomington, Ill. and Marcus Cale of Heidelberg, Germany; two daughters, Michele Bullins of Olathe, Kan., and Kathryn Cale of Keokuk; eight grandchildren; two brothers, Hume Cale of Canton, Mo., and David Cale of Ankeny; and one sister, Kathryn Bleuer of Warsaw, Ill. He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. Friday at Lunning Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. The funeral for Mr. Cale will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Lunning Chapel, with the Rev. Frank Beaty officiating. Burila will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery. A memorial has been established for the animal shelter.
