Mrs. Bertha Barngrover, 86 year old life resident of Burlington, died at 9:15 am Thursday after an extended illness.
She was born October 30, 1865, in Burlington, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John G. Singer, and was married June 5, 1917, to John H. Brangrover at Washington, Ia. Mrs. Bargrover was a member of the Methodist faith. Surviving are 3 daughters, Mrs. Harry Cavender and Mrs. Carl Zart, both of Burlington, and Mrs. John Whitney, Elyria, O.; and a son, CD Barngrover, Burlington. Services will be at 1:30 pm Saturday in Giles funeral home with Rev. James Buikema officiating. Burial will be at Aspen Grove Cemetery.
