The body of N. Victor Arden, resident of Burlington for many years, who died at the home of his daughter,Mrs. Hazel Stenger, Royal Oak, Mich., will arrive here today and will be taken to Prugh's chapel. Funeral services will be held at the chapel at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon, with burial in Aspen Grove cemetery beside the body of his wife. Mr. Arden was born in Sweden 75 years ago and came to Burlington early in his life. He engaged in the grocery business with his brother, Charles Arden, on Front street for a time and later entered the employ of the Ihrer grocery. He worked for this firm for many years until going to Royal Oak six years ago to make his home with his daughter. He was a member of the Odd Fellows lodge.He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Stenger, and Miss Hattie V. Arden, and one granddaughter, Dorothy Stenger, all of Royal, Oak Mich., and two sisters, Mrs. Ida Croon and Miss Mary Arden of Rockford, Ill.Mrs Arden died seven years ago. A daughter and a brother also preceded Mr. Arden in death.
