Jeffrey Lee Appleton, one-day-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Jamie Appleton, 523 South Tenth street, died in Burlington hospital July 26. Besides his parents,the boy leaves three grandparents: Mr. and Mrs. O.W. Appleton, Burlington, and Mrs. Dorothy Wilkerson, Indianapolis, Ind., and three great-grandparents:Mr and Mrs. William Hutchinson, Keokuk, and Mrs. J.F. Appleton, of Burlington,Last rites will be held at the Wallen Chapel at 2 p.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Lloyd Z. Parron, pastor of First Christian Church will officiate, and burial will be in Aspen Grove cemetery.
