Mrs. Catherine M. Applegate, 78, 604 Summer, died today at Burlington hospital. She was born in Burlington, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Abbott. She was married to Roy R. Applegate. She is survived by a son, James A., at home, and a brother, Stephen T. Abbott, St. Joseph, Mo. The body is at Prugh's chapel where funeral arrangements will be announced later.
