William F. Anhalt, 65, of 312 1/2 S. Seventh street, a cabinet maker, died at 6;25 p.m. Thursday at Burlington hospital after an extended illness.
He was born June 15, 1884, in Burlington, the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Anhalt. He was a member of the Evangelical faith. Surviving are 2 daughters, Mrs. Howard Thompson, Burlington; Mrs. Lester Hartman, Mediapolis; a son, Phillip T. Anhalt, Burlington; a sister, Mrs. louise Wagner, Burlington; 12 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Two sisters and a brother are dead.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Giles funeral home with Rev. Ernst Press officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove cemetery.
