Mrs. Lydia Andrews, 538 May Avenue, died at St. Francis hospital Tuesday night at 11:25 o'clock after a lingering illness. She was born July 4, 1861, in Des Moines county. On March 11, 1880, she was united in marriage with John Andrew who preceded her in death. She had resided in this city for the past 30 years. Mrs. Andrew is survived by seven children all of this city: Thomas Andrew, John H. Russell C., Mrs John Knoll, Mrs. William Moog, Mrs. Carl Anderson and Mrs. Frank Ertz. Several grandchildren and great grandchildren also survive.
She was a member of Williamson Memorial United Presbyterian church. Funeral services will be held at Prugh's chapel Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment will be in Aspen Grove cemetery. The rev. R. W. Jamieson, pastor of Williamson Memorial church, will officiate.
