Dale R. Andre, Peoria, Ill., a former resident of Burlington, and an attorney died Sunday in Proctor hospital in Peoria after an illness of 4 years. Andre was born in Burlington June 10, 1889, the son of Charles Edward Andre and Anna Romkey Andre. He married Hilda VanGerpen in Hartsburg, Ill.
While in Burlington he served as state representative of his district for 2 years and was secretary of the retail grocery association. Surviving are his wife, 2 daughters, Mrs. Daniel Knepp, Peoria, and Mrs, Phillip Farmer, Peoria; 4 grandchildren, Diana and Nancy Knepp and Kristan and Phillip Farmer. Services will be held at the Cumerford-Endsley Memorial home in Peoria Tuesday at 11 a.m. Graveside services will be in Aspen Grove cemetery Tuesday at 1 p.m.
