Obituary
Information regarding the death of Mrs. Alberta Folson Anderson, 80, former resident of Burlington, which took place at Oskaloosa, Ia., last night, was received here today. Mrs. Anderson, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lawson Titus, was born in Bureau county, Illinois, May 9, 1871, coming to Burlington in 1905. She was married to William Folsom, who died in 1919. Later she married Gus Anderson at Oskaloosa, where she made her home until the time of her death.
She is survived by her husband; one son, Lawson Folsom, Sterling, Il; one daughter, Mrs. Miene Holmes, Oskaloosa; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Another son, William Henry Folsom, at one time a member of the Burlington police force, preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held at the Burnett-Wallen funeral home Friday at 2 p.m. with burial in Aspen Grove cemetery.
