Yerda A. Anderson, 2910 MAdison Ave., died Friday morning, July 11, at Klein Hospital. She was 96. She was born June 21, 1890, in West Burlington to Carl Alfred and mary Lousise Nelson Johnson. She married the late Albert e. Johnson in 1919.
She was a homemaker and a member of Messiah Lutheran Church. She was also a member of the Degree Honor of Lodge. Surviving are wo daughters, Mrs. Lucille Pohren, Burlington, and Mrs. Mabel Danielson; six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Friends may call Sunday afternoon and evening at Lunning Chapel.
A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at the Lunning Chapel. The Rev. Don Hoornstra will be officiating. Burial will be at the Aspen Grove Cemetery. A memorial has been established for the MEssiah Lutheran Church and First united Church of Christ.
