Obituary
The body of William H. Anderson, resident of Burlington for many years and an employe of the Murray Iron Works for 40 years, who died yesterday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Allison John at Elgin, Ill., was brought here last night and taken to Prugh's chapel.
Mr. Anderson was born in West Virginia, 70 years ago. He came to Burlington as a young man and entered the employ of the Murray Iron Works. He retired seven years ago and since that time has been making his home with his daughters, Mrs. William Pate of Waterloo and Mrs. John of Elgin. His wife died five years ago.
Besides his daughters, Mr. Anderson is survived by a son, William F. Anderson, of Burlington, and a brother, H.H. Anderson, also of Burlington. Mrs. Pate and Mrs. John arrived here last night.
Funeral arrangements had not been ompleted last night. Friends are invited to call at Prugh's chapel.
