Services for Raymond W. (Ray) Anderson, 77, of 515 S. Starr, who died Thursday, Feb. 28, will be held at St. Luke United Church of Christ at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, the Rev. Ernest Ellmers officiating. A memorial for St. Luke church has been established at Lunning Chapel.
He was born here May 18, 1902, to Andrew G. and Hannah Anderson Anderson. He married Frances G. Hofmann Sept. 7, 1929, at Holdredge, Neb.
Mr. Anderson was a retired employee of Central Oil and Grease Co. and J.I. Case Co. He was a member of St. Luke church, the Eagles lodge, and AARP.
Surviving: The wife; three sons, Robert G., St Cloud, Minn. Richard M. Hinsdale, Ill., and Donald W., Long Grove; and eight grandchildren.
