Mrs. Mary Katherine Anderson, 81, of 830 North St., died in Burlington Memorial hospital at 8:45 a.m. Wednesday, July 31. She was born in Chicago June 1, 1893, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Van Cleve. She married M. Anderson in Wapello in October of 1921; he died in 1955.
Mrs. Anderson was a member of First United Methodist church and a past president of Burlington Garden club.
Surviving: Daughter Mrs. Fern Lombardo, Sacramento, Calif.; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Rev. Leroy Moore will conduct a committal service in Aspen Grove cemetery at 1:30 Friday. The body is at Prugh's Chapel.
