Mrs. Mary K. Anderson, 83, of 1530 S. Eighth, died Wednesday, Oct. 24, at Brokaw Hospital in Bloomington, Ill. She was born March 25, 1901, to Herman and Elizabeth Sleeter BRandt. She married John E. Anderson April 27, 1922, at Ft. Madison. He died July 20, 1934.
Mrs. Anderson owned LaCharm beauty salon in Fr. Madison until retiring in 1965. She was a Jehovah's Witness.
Surviving: A daughter, Joan Keith, Bloomngton, Ill.; a sister, Elsie Lorenz, Burlington, one brother, Remus Brandt, Olds, Alberta, Canada: and two grand-children.
Funeral: 1 p.m. Monday, Lunning Chapel. Jesse White officiating; Aspen Grove cemetery.
