Mrs. Mary Anderson, 72, of 707 S. Starr avenue, a resident of Burlington for 50 years, died at 8:25 p.m. Wednesday at Mercy hospital after a 10-day illness.
She was born Feb. 22, 1878, near Hannibal, Mo. Her husband, the late Herman Anderson, died Aug. 17, 1945. Mrs. Anderson was a member of West Hill Methodist church and the Ladies aid of the church.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Helen Gibbons, Minneapolis. One daughter is dead.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Burnett-Wallen funeral home with Rev. A.E. Brent of West Hill Methodist church officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove cemetery.
