Obituary
Leroy S. Anderson, 68, veteran, Burlington railroad employe, died at his home, 1804 South Fifteenth street, at 5 p.m. yesterday. He was employed by the Burlington railraod for 51 yars and was retired on a pension in October, 1928.
For many years he was switch tender on the railroad bridge. At the time of his retirement he was crossing flagman at the Fourth street crossing.
Mr. Anderson was born March 12, 1862, near New London, Ia. He has lived in Burlngton for 52 years. He is survived by his widow, one son, Dr. L.L. Anderson of Burlington and one daughter, MRs. Cloid Lewis of Moline, Ia.
He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose, the B. of R.T. and the Veterans association of the railroad.
The body was taken to Prughs chapel and funeral arrangements will be announced later.
