Obituary
John T. Anderson, veteran employee of the Burlington railroad died at 8:25 o'clock last night at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Tillie Rudy, 304 Summer street, West Burlington.
Mr. Anderson was born in Sweden, April 28, 1844 and came to America 37 years later. In 1893, he came to West Burlington, where he has since resided and entered the employe of the railroad company in the West Burlington shops. He was recently placed on a pension. He was a member of the Swedish Lutheran church of West Burlington. His wife preceded him in death 18 years ago, and he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Tillie Rudy of West Burlington and Mrs. Fred Swedenburg of Burlington; four sons, Albert Anderson of Burlington and Oscar, Edward and Victor Anderson, all of Chicago, Ill., six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
The body was taken to Prugh's chapel where it will remain until funeral arrangements are completed.
