Grant F. Anderson, 84, a Burlington native, died at 8:25 p.m. Friday, Oct. 16, at St. Francis hospital, Peoria, Il.
Mr. Anderson, a retired machinist at Peroria's Caterpillar Company, was born Aug. 7, 1886, In Burlington, the son of Andrew and Hannah Anderson Anderson. He married Maude Miller in Burlington, March 2, 1909. After her death in 1935 he married Vera Goldstein in Peoria, Il. Feb 25, 1945. He was a member of the Grace Presbyterian church, Peoria, Il, Masonic lodge, Moose, Eagles and Caterpillar Union, 974.
Surviving: His wife of Peoria; one daughter, Mrs. Stanley Thompson, Peoria; one son, Robert Harley, Peoria; one brother, Ray, Burlington; one sister, Mrs. Ida Nelson, Glendale, Calif.; four grandchildren; three great grandchildren.
Funeral: 10 a.m. Tuesday; Clugsten Memorial Home, Peorai, Il; Rev. Bruce Dunn, Graveside services, Aspen Grove cemetery, Tuesday at 1 p.m.; Burlington, Rev. Carl Kleiny.
