Kathryn Anna Rogers, 93, of Burlington, died at 10:20 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 2, 2007, at Great River Medical Center's Klein Center in Burlington. Born Dec. 31, 1913, in rural Ventura, she was the daughter of Guy and Ida Ellerhoff Walker. On Aug. 12, 1950, she married Vance Rogers. Ms. Rogers was a secretary at J.I. Case for more than 30 years, retiring in 1978. She was a graduate of Fertile High School and attended one year of business college. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and the Tuesday afternoon Bible Study Group. She loved to travel and fish. Survivors include one sister, Lois Anderson of Fertile, and one nephew, David Anderson of Pottsboro, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents. The funeral for Ms. Rogers will be at 1 p.m. today in Lunning Chapel, with the Rev. Dean Graber officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Memorials have been established for Calvary Baptist Church and the Salvation Army.
