Mrs. Nancy Bandleon, 86, native of Germany, but a resident of Burlington for 70 years, died at her home 111 Polk Street, after several months’ illness.
Nancy Pfister was born in Germany March 22, 1847, coming to the United States and direct to Burlington in 1863. She was married the following year to George Bandleon who preceded her in death. Two sons and a daughter also preceded her in death, and she is survived by a great-granddaughter, Barbara Barr of Burlington.
Funeral services will be held at the residence Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock, with burial at Aspen Grove cemetery. Friends are invited. The body will be taken home from Prugh’s chapel Sunday morning.
