Obituary

One week to the day, following the death of her sister, Mrs. Mary Newquist, of West Burlington, Mrs. Emma Anderson, widow of Louis Anderson, 406 Wheeler street, West Burlington, died at 3:45 Friday afternoon in Burlington hospital. Mrs. Anderson had been in ill health for some time. Ten days ago her condition became critical and she failed steadily until the end.
Mrs. Anderson, formerly Emma Enburg, was born in Swede Nov. 5, 1864. She came to this country in 1884 and was married to Louis Anderson July 28, 1888, making her home in West Burlington since that time. She was one of the oldest and most faithful members of the Swedish Emmanuel Lutheran church of West Burlington.
Surviving Mrs. Anderson are a daughter, Mrs. Arvid Gustafson, West Burlington, one son, Roy Anderson, of Chicago, Il; a sister in Sweden, one grandson and one granddaughter. mr. Anderson died April 13, 1934.
Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon, Aug.7, at Prugh's chapel, at 2:30 o'clock. Rev. Ad.D. Freden officiating. interment in Aspen Grove cemetery.
