Obituary
The funeral of Miss Effie Anderson, who was crushed under a big pole on Sixth and High streets and passed away at Burlington hospital Wednesday morning, will be held from the Messiah Lutheran church at 1:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon. She had been an earnest and consistent member of this organization, and she was engaged on an errand in connection with the annual holiday festivities of her church when she suffered the injuries which resulted in her death. In the church, as outside of it, she was knows to many and respected by all who knew her, and her untimely death is mourned in a large circle of friends, relatives and acquanintances. No doubt, there will be a large number of good people at the services in her honor, and to accompany her to her last resting place in Aspen Grove cemetery.
