Mrs. Clara L. Anderson, 89, 403 S. Leebrick, died at Burlington hospital, Wednesday morning after an extended illness.
She was a native of Burlington and was born Oct. 20, 1879, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Swanson. She was married to the late Clarence W. Anderson in Burlington on June 19, 1907. Mrs. Anderson was a member of Messiah Lutheran church and of the LWC and the Ladies Aid society.
Surviving: Son Richard C. Anderson of Buffalo, N.Y. daughters Mrs. Ruth Engberg and Mrs. Mildred Meth, both of Burlington; eight grandchildren and six great-grand-children.
Services: Messiah church Saturday at two, the Rev. Luther Livingston, Aspen Grove cemetery. A memorial fund has been established at the church. The body is at the Sheagren funeral hom
