Obituary
Charles August Anderson, former employee of the rail shops in West Burlington, died at his home, 926 Hays street, at 6:30 a.m. Sunday after an illness of about two years. He wa born in Sweden, Aug. 19, 1865, came to this country when 21 years old and Burlington has since been his home. His first wife was May Saunderson who died in 1928. he married Mrs. Grace Miller, Oct. 11, 1930. He was of the Methodist faith.
Surviving are his widow; three step-children, Elmer Miller, Mrs. Edward Yaeger and Mrs Ralph Rieke, all of Burlington.
Funeral services will be held at the Burnett-Wallen funeral home at 2 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Aspen Grove cemetery.
