William Leroy Burtalo , 83,of 1235 S. Main, died at 12:30 a.m. Saturday, July 30, 1926, at Kahoka, Mo., he married Edith Mae Baker. Mr. Burtalo, a retired laborer for Sylvania Electric Co. was an army veteran of World War I and a member of the Salvation Army. Surviving: The wife; three sons, Ralph and Edward, Burlington, William, Wever; two daughters, Miss Mary Ann Dewein, and Mrs. Walter (Dolly) Phillips, Burlington; 15 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Bessie Moyers, Burlington, Mrs. Goldie Penrod, Macon, Mo.; and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral: 3:30 p.m. Monday, Prugh's Chapel, Rev. G.A. Saathoff; Aspen Grove cemetery.
