Funeral services will be conducted Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from Grace Methodist church, for Mrs. Agnes Margaret Anderson, 68, a lifelong resident of Burlington who passed away Thursday evening at the home of her daughter Mrs. James McMurray, 623 South Central Avenue. Mrs. Anderson suffered from heart trouble but her passing is reported to have been particular due to bronchial pneumonia which developed from an attack of influenza.
Agnes Margaret Ryon was born in Burlington July 10, 1860 and was married in 1883. Her husband preceded her in death. All of her life was spent in Burlington where she was well known and where she numbered her friends by the hundreds. She was a woman of pleasing personality, a woman who made friends easily and who retained lasting friendships. These people, with her relatives, will sincerely mourn her passing. Mrs. Anderson was a member of Grace Methodist church and active in affairs of the church. She was a member of the Ladies' Aid Society of Grace Methodist church and of the auxiliary of the Hawkeye NAtives Society.
Surviving are her son, Walter Anderson, one daughter, Mrs. James mcMurray with whom she made her home and who gave her every care and assistance during her illness; one granddaughter, Miss Agnes McMurray, all of Burlington.
