Emma Laura Andersen, 9 years old, daughter died at 11:20 o'clock Sunday morning at the home of her parents, 501 North Sixth streeet, following an illiness of over two weeks.
Emma was born in Mediapolis, IA., April 8, 1916 and moved to Burlington with her parents six years ago. She was a regular attendant at the First Presbyterian church, and was in the fourth grade at North Hill school. Her cheerfulness made her popular among the boys and girls who knew her, and she will be greatly missed by her many playmates.
In addition to her parents, Emma is survived by two brothers, Eugene and PAul, and five sisters, Dorothy, edna, Irene, Margaret and Mary Anne.
Funeral services will be held from the home on Tuesday afternoon at 4 o"clock, with Dr. Archilbald Cardle officiating. Friends of the family are invited to the house, but services at Aspen Grove cemetery, where she will be buried, are private,
