Obituary
Altha Allsup passed away at the home of her mother, No 813 Washington street at the age of fifteen years, five months and fifteen days. The cause of death was pneumonia and she had been ill since last Sunday. She was a bright and promising pupil of the North Hill school, where she would have graduated next January, to enter the High school. She was well liked by teachers and fellow pupils and by all who had come to know her. She was born in New London but had passed the greater part of her young life in Burlington. She is survived by the mother, Mrs. Susan Armpriest; four sisters, Mrs. William Poggemiller of Burlington; Mrs. Edward Phillips, of Davenport; Mrs. William Natterly, of Oquawka, IL; Mrs. Ben Honck, of Burlington, and a brother, Warren Allsup of Muscatine, IA.
The funeral will take place from the family home at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon. Friends are invited to these services.
