Obituary
Mrs. Katherine Allman, 80, Hinsdale, IL former Burlington resident, died Thursday in Hinsdale after an extended illness. She had lived in Hinsdale for the past 34 years.
Mrs. Allman was born Oct 18, 1879, at Winfield, the daughter of Charles and Louise Schwarz and was married in St Louis, MO. in January, 1922 to Myron S. Allman.
Prior to her marriage she was a postmaster at West Burlington.
Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Pearl Peterson, Salem; a brother, John Schwarz, West Burlington; a step-sister, Mrs. Clarence Bosch, West Burlington; her step-mother, Mrs. Charles Schwarz, West Burlington; and several nieces and nephews. Her parents and a brother are dead.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in Prugh's chapel with Rev. Calvin Ley officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove cemetery.
