Obituary

Samuel Allison 56, died in St. Francis hospital yesterday morning following a short illness. He was taken to the hospital in an unconscious condition Monday night.
Mr. Allison, who was a life long resident of Burlington, lived at 1711 South Thirteenth street. He was manager of the Benteco store on South Twelfth street for a number of years and took care fo his work there until several days ago, when he became ill. He was born here October 7, 1873 and was a member of the A.O.U.W. lodge, the United Commercial Travelers and the Woodmen of the World. He was married in 1899 to Miss Enice Gallagher, who died in 1921. In 1924, he was married to MRs. May Simons, who survives him.
Other survivors are three sons, Robert Allison and James Allison of Burlington and Earl Allison of Los Angeles CA, two daughters, Eunice and Margaret of Peoria. Two brothers, Clyde Allison and William ALlison of Burlington; four sisters, Mrs W.J. Thul, Mrs. Frank Neff, Mrs. E.E. Samuelson, and Miss Bessie Allison all of Burlingotn, and two grandchildren.
The body was taken to the Burnett-Wallen funeral home. pending funeral arrangements.
