Martha Dalin Heath Jacobson, 98, died Oct. 4, 2006, at Evergreen Nursing Home in Clancy, Mont. Born Dec. 20, 1907, in Burlington, she was the daughter of John and Ida Dalin. In 1935, she married Marion Heath in Chicago. He died in 1958. In 1970, she married Delmar Jacobson in Burlington. He died in 1981. Mrs. Heath Jacobson worked for Boeing Air Line as a stewardess from 1930 to 1934. She was a school nurse in Burlington for 21 years, retiring in 1972. She was a graduate of Burlington High School, Burlington Junior College and she graduated from Augustana School of Nursing in 1930 as a registered nurse. She received a bachelor of science degree from Iowa Wesleyan College in 1959. She was a member of Christ Episcopal Church. Survivors include two daughters, Carolyn Carter of Burlington and Susan Wilson of Northglenn, Colo.; two grandsons; one granddaughter; and seven great-grandchildren. Besides her husbands, she was preceded in death by her parents, one sister and two children in infancy. According to her wishes, her body has been cremated. The graveside service for Mrs. Heath Jacobson will be at 9 a.m. Thursday in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
