William D Albright, 66, of 2901 Sunnyside died in Burlington Medical Center Monday, August 27.
The son of Edwin M and Elsie Meilahn Albright, he was born Nov 19, 1912 in Burlington, He married Elsie Haskins Spet 3, 1938; she died Oct. 13, 1971.
He was a member of the Burlington fire department for 28 1/2 years and was a member of the Firefighters and Musicians unions and the Moose Lodge. A veteran of WWII, he had held state and local offices in the Disabled American Veterans and was prominent in Burlington Veterans Council.

Funeral: 1 p.m. Thursday Lunning Chapel, Rev B. Lawrence Sweeney; Aspen Grove cemetery with graveside rites by the DAV.
