Silas M. Albright 65, farmer RR 1, West Burlington, former express company employee, died at his farm home north of Middletown late yesterday after being in failing health a year.
Born in Des Moines county Nov 22, 1872 he had resided in this vicinity most of his life. He was married in Mt. Pleasant, IA Nov 22, 1930 to Cora Sorber of Burlington.
Surviving are his widow and a sister, Mrs. Hattie Southerland of Burlington. Three brothers and three sisters preceded him in death.
Services will be held from the Burnett-Wallen funeral home at 2 p.m. Friday, conducted by Dr. W.T. Smith pastor of First Methodist church. Burial will be in Aspen Grove cemetery.
