Edward J Albertsen, about 61, of 1602 Mt Pleasant street, widely known retired Burlington jeweler, died a the wheel of his automobile on Lucas Ave near Gertrude street shortly before noon Thursday.
Albertsen was drivig west along Lucas avenue on the north side of the road about 50 feet east of Gertrude street when stricken. Although he still was alive whenmen at a newrby dump reached the car seconds after it crashed into the tree, Albertsen was dean when firemen and police arrived.
Funeral services for Mr. edward J Albertsen, who passed away May 27, 1943, will be held i nPrugh's Chapel, Saturday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock.
Rev. J.H. Buescher will officiate.
Friends in vired. Interment will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
