Obituary

Fred Albers passed away at Burlington hospital yesterday morning. He was a native of Germany, past seventy and had long lived on a little plot of ground about three miles north of Burlington. He had been married, but his wife had been divorced from him many years ago. He paid especial attention to raising bees and chickens. He had been sick for several weeks, but persisted in his refusal to have a physician or to tkae medicine. Finally Dr. Vorwerk succeeded in bringing the old man to Burlington hospital, and there he passed his last days in greater comfort than he had enjoyed for many years. The funeral will be held from Unterkircher's chapel this afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment in Aspen Grove.
