Mrs. Vada Adolphson, 94, of 205 S. Jefferson, died at 4;02 p.m. Thursday Feb. 22 in Henry County Health Center.
The daughter of Charles and Anna Swanson Nelson, she was born Feb. 17, 1885, in Norrkoping, Sweden, She married Harry Arnold Adolphson March 4, 1914, at Mediapolis; he died Sept. 16, 1957.
A long-time resident of Burlington, she moved here in 1964. She was a member of Grace United Methodist church of Burlington.
Surviving: Son, Charles, daughter, Darline Taylor and sister Elsie Lee, all of Mt. Pleasant; seven grandchildren. 14 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral: 1:30 p.m. Monday. Beatty funeral home, Rev. T.N. Taylor; Aspen Grove cemetery, Burlington.
