Obituary

Norman Gordon Ballantyne, 65, life resident of Burlington, died at 11:55 am Monday in St. Francis hospital, following an extended illness.
He was born in Burlington, March 9, 1887, the son of Hector and Sarah Bailey Ballantyne; he was a member of First Presbyterian Church, and of the Elks lodge.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Paul Schulze, Muskegon, Mich.; a son James Ballantyne, Kansas City, Mo.; three grandchildren; a brother, George G. Ballantyne, of San Jose, Calif., and one nephew.
The body is at Prugh’s chapel. Funeral services will be held in Prugh’s Chapel, Wednesday morning at 10 o’clock. Sept. 28, 1929. Rev. Mr. Malcolm Ludy will officiate. Interment will be in Aspen Grove cemetery. The family will receive friends in Prugh’s Chapel from 7:30 to 9 pm Tuesday evening.
