Glenna Mae Baldwin Coey, 72, of Danville, formerly of Burlington, died at 11:55 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 5, 2002, at Danville Care Center. Born Aug. 4, 1930, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Glen and Rosie McDaniel Savage. On July 13, 1946, she married Leslie "Pat" J. Baldwin in Burlington. He died Sept. 30, 1993. She later married Glen E. Coey in Oquawka, Ill. He, too, preceded her in death. Mrs. Coey was the manager of the Skylark Inn at the airport and Darlene's Restaurant, as well as several other local restaurants. She was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include three daughters, Sandy Russell of Burlington, Linda DeLaRosa of Bastrop, Texas, and Rebecca "Becky" Chick of Ames; two sons, Les Baldwin of Burlington and Rick Baldwin of New London; 15 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and six stepchildren. Besides her husbands, she was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, two sisters, and one stepson. Visitation will be from noon until 8 p.m. today at Lunning Chapel. There will be no family visitation. The graveside service for Mrs. Coey will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Aspen Grove Cemetery, with Elder Kim Steffen officiating. A memorial has been established.
