Oscar A. Baldwin, Danville, died July 28, 7:45 pm, in Burlington hospital. He was 65 years old and with the exception of 16 years spent farming in Humboldt county, had lived most of his life in Des Moines and Henry counties.
Baldwin was the son of Oscar M. and Elizabeth Sowerby Baldwin and was born at Mt. Pleasant on Sept. 18, 1874. On May 31, 1911, he was married to Rose H. Nielsen, who died June 8, 1934. They were married at Humboldt, Ia.
Surviving are 2 daughters; Eva Isabel Baldwin, Burlington, and Mrs. Evelyn Helene Rook, Salem, and 3 sisters, all of Santa Ana, Calif., Mrs. Loss Parrott, and Mrs. George Knowles and Mrs. Frank Wilson.
Also surviving at 3 brothers; Frank Baldwin, Humboldt; James Baldwin, Burlington, and Benjamin J. Baldwin, Seattle, Wash. There are 38 nieces and nephews.
