Nora E. Baldwin, 74, of 1301 S. Garfield Ave., died at 6:06 am Wednesday, June 27, 1990, at Burlington Medical Center.
Born Jan. 16, 1916, at Webster City, she was the daughter of Hans Peter and Etta Cooter Nelson. She married Malcolm Baldwin Sept. 7, 1933, at Ft. Dodge. He died Dec. 22, 1987.
She worked at Sheaffer Pen Co. and had been a bookkeeper at the Iowa Army Ammunition Plant. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. She had golfed at Flint Hills and PGA. She was a graduate of Ft. Dodge High School and Fort Dodge Business College.
Surviving are one son, Michael M. Baldwin, Kent, Wash.; one daughter, Tinia Walker, Florida; two sisters, Sis Hays and Opal Weidlein, both of Webster City; one brother, Verne Nelson, Ft. Dodge; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial service for Mrs. Baldwin will be 1 pm Monday at Lunning Chapel with the Rev. Wendy Boden officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery. The body has been cremated.
