Leslie J. “Pat” Baldwin, 69, of 2610 S. Fifth St., died at 2:31 pm Thursday, Sept. 30, 1993, at Burlington Care Center.
Born July 30, 1924, at Humbolt, he was the son of James G. and Della McCabe Baldwin. He married Glenna Savage on July 13, 1946, in Burlington.
Mr. Baldwin was a truck driver for Allied Van Lines for 30 years. He was of the Protestant faith and a member of the Teamsters Union Local 218. He was a Navy veteran of WWII.
Survivors include three daughters, Sandra Russell of Burlington, Linda DeLaRosa of Bastrop, TX and Rebecca Chich of Carroll; two sons, Leslie Baldwin and Rick Baldwin, both of Burlington; three sisters, Esther Holbert and Wanda Harris, both of Burlington, and Della Hirth of Nauvoo, Ill.; two brothers, Willis Baldwin of rural Mediapolis and Delbert Baldwin of Ft. Madison; 14 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a sister.
Friends may call from 8 to 10:30 am Monday at Lunning Chapel. There will be no family visitation.
The funeral for Mr.s Baldwin will be 10:30 am Monday at Lunning Chapel with Allen Pygott officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
