Obituary
Charles Baldwin, 78, resident of the Des Moines county farm for the past nine years, died this morning. He was born in Illinois Sept. 18, 1853, the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Baldwin, but lived in Des Moines county for 64 years. He was admitted to the county farm on July 24, 1922. His only living near relative is George Flick, a half-brother, who also lives at the county farm. The body was taken to Unterkircher’s funeral home pending arrangements for the funeral.
Funeral services will be held at Unterkircher’s funeral home at 2:30 the afternoon of Sept. 3. Burial will be at Aspen Grove Cemetery.
