Obituary
Mrs. Sarah Balbort, of Kansas City, former resident of Burlington died this morning, according to word received by relatives here. Mrs. Balbort is the mother of William Balbort and Mrs. William Bringer, both of Burlington.
She was born in German but came to America and to Burlington during her early life, living here until twenty years ago. She is 86 years old and has been living with her daughter, Mrs. Anna Castleman, of Kansas City for the past few years.
In addition to the relatives already mentioned there survive two daughters, Mrs. Nellie Bomberger, and Miss Dottie Dalbert, both of Kansas City. Her husband preceded her in death thirty years ago. The body will be brought to Burlington for burial at a time to be announced.
Funeral services will be held at 3 o’clock Thursday, November 18, at the home of her son, William Balmort, 2012 Osborn Street. Burial in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
