Walter E. Baker, 1300 Summer, died at Burlington hospital on Thursday.
Mr. Baker was born June 1, 1882, in Burlington, the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Baker. On Nove. 1, 1913, he was married to Martha Stull in Missouri. Mr. Baker was a retired switchman for the Burlington Route. He was a member of Walnut Street Baptist Church.
Surviving are: a daughter, Mrs. Melba Hendryx, Arnold, Mo.; a niece; and four nephews, including Richard Mark, with whom Mr. Baker lived.
His wife, four brothers, and five sisters are dead. Services will be held at the Sheagren funeral home Saturday at 2 pm with Rev. George Serson officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
