Mrs. Martha Ellen Baker, 73, of 712 Wightman, died at 7:15 pm Saturday at her home after an extended illness.
She was born June 6, 1882, at Columbia, Mo., the daughter of William and Margaret Stull. Nov. 1, 1915, she married Walter Baker at Hannibal, Mo.
She was a member of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are her husband; a daughter Mrs. William Hendryx, St. Louis, Mo., and a sister, Mrs. Anna Turner, Columbia, Mo.
Services will be held Tuesday at 2 pm from Giles funeral home. The Rev. Earl S. Woodard, pastor of the Walnut Street Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
