Mrs. Sarah Baird, of 1109 Osborn street, died at Mercy hospital yesterday afternoon at 5:30 pm, her death being due to old age, as she was 88 years old. She lived in this city for fifty-two years. Her mother, the late Mrs. Margaret Bowman, died at the age of 104. Mrs. Baird, whose maiden name was Sarah Bowman, leaves three sons, Henry and Mitchell Baird, and Solomon Stubbs. The third is the son of her first husband, the late Sylvester Stubbs, who died fifty-two years ago. Joseph Baird, her second husband, survives her. Mrs. Baird attended the English Lutheran church and was respected and loved by all.
