Harry Baird, life resident of Burlington, died at 11:30 pm Friday after an extended illness. He was born in the county June 4, 1865, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Baird, and was married at Rock Island, May 11, 1918. He was a member of the First Methodist church.
Surviving are his widow; one son by a former marriage, Joe Baird, of Burlington. His wife by a former marriage, a daughter, brother and 2 half-brothers are dead.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Monday in Prugh's chapel. Dr. William T. Smith will officiate. Burial will be in Aspen Grove cemetery.
