William Carl Bailey, 1911 S. Sixteenth Street, 48-year-old painter, died at 6 am Friday in University hospitals, Iowa City, after an extended illness.
He was born Aug 31, 1903, in Davenport, the son of William and Minnie Mosena Bailey. Surviving are his father and sister. Mrs. Jacquelin Jackson, both of Burlington, and 3 nephews.
Services will be at 2 pm Monday in Prugh's chapel. Burial will be in Aspen Grove cemetery.
