Mrs. William Bailey, a former resident of this city, passed away in Davenport yesterday. Mrs. Bailey had been sick for about a year with consumption. The deceased was formerly Miss Minnie Mosena and was born and reared in Burlington. She was twenty-two years of age and moved to Davenport with her husband three years ago and has resided in that city since.
Mrs. Bailey had hundreds of friends in this city who will be grieved to hear of her death. She was a young woman of good disposition, a fervent Christian, and a good wife and mother.
The remains were brought to this city today and will be interred in Aspen Grove Cemetery, tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock. The funeral will be held from the home of Mrs. Nellie O'Neil, 401 South Main St.
Mrs Bailey leaves a husband and two small children, besides her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Mosena and two brothers and one sister.
